SEO—Stop Running From It

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)—what the heck does that really mean? For a while, I ran away when I heard the term primarily because I was overwhelmed at the thought of learning what it meant. Today, I still have a ton to learn, but I have stopped running from it and started to learn the basics.

SEO is all about improving the visibility of your website through search engines. The ultimate goal is to be one of the first couple websites listed when someone is looking for information relevant to what you do. There are companies out there who can do this for you; however, there are a couple simple things you can do before you make a big investment. Here are a couple basic tips I learned once I stopped running away from it:
