Boost E-Mail Marketing Pizzazz

Create an e-mail marketing campaign that will send your sales through the roof. All it takes is a little pizzazz, and patience. Follow these tips to increase sales from e-mail marketing.

  1. Trim down the subject line. In group travel e-mail campaigns, subject lines should be less than forty characters, including spaces. The key is a subject line that doesn't get cut off but does spark the recipient's interest.
  2. Keep your e-mail's paragraphs short and snappy. Readers will nod off in the middle of a dense paragraph, so get to the point. Don't pare down important details, just make sure they're not too lengthy.
  3. What's in it for me? E-mail recipients will want to read what is relevant to them and their business, so include something for everyone. What does your business have to offer travel agents, and group tour leaders?
  4. Direct sales come with time. E-mail marketing campaigns are often a good source of lead generation, but take more time to develop a direct sale. Follow up with inquiries you do receive to help the process along.
